Half Marathon, December 8, 2007
- The 10 member St. John's Running Crew just before the 13.1 mile Rose Bowl 1/2 Marathon. It was 42 degrees that morning! L-R: Scott, Mel, Emily, Jim, Veronica, Ruth, SangMi, Lydia, Kaitlyn, and Aquila

- "1-2-3 St. John's will destroy everyone! OK, break!"

- Are Kaitlyn and Veronica doing some kind of cheer? No! They're contorting their bodies at the start line to combat the 42 degree weather!

- Ahhh, good times.

- Sabrina got to get up at the crack of dawn AND carry all our stuff while we raced. Lucky!

- Melanie, at about mile 8, being pursued by paparazzi

- The elite athletes of our group relax while waiting around for the rest of us to finish. Hey, how come the old guys smoked all the teenagers?!?!?!?!?!

- Mr. Kim encourages his daughters on the final stretch

- Kaitlyn chills out after the run. "What are we doing next? Give me a challenge!"

- Emily, noticing that SangMi is distracted by the camera, sees her opportunity to pull into the lead.

- Emily to SangMi: "See ya sucka!"

- Scott did so well in the race they named a street after him. The only reason you see no other runners here is because he was SO far in the lead.

- One of these sisters looks less tired than the other.

- The whole gang at the finish line. It appears that everyone else has gone home hours ago.

- The proud patriarch of the Kim Family Running Dynasty and the first (BY FAR) from our group to finish the race.

- Jim chats with our loyal fans who came out early on a Saturday morning to cheer us on.

- Even though this was her first full day as a 30 year old, Mel proves she can still keep up with the young 'ens.

- Who's proud of their mom?!?!?!?!

- Melanie was tricked into running the half marathon. She thought were were going bowling.

- Davey's proud of his sisters' accomplishments.

- For months, we trained together in Santa Monica on Saturday mornings. The Kims edged out the Bomars for the "most team members from one family" award.

- Kaitlyn and SangMi share the family love.

- Scott is pleased to have found a shirt that perfectly matches his skin tone.

- I can think of at least three funny things to say about this picture, but I'm going to let you make your own caption....

- These ladies know it obviously takes a heavy concentration of women to keep the St. John's running team on top.

- Nobody beats the Kim-Jim express!

- Gleaming medals, aching muscles, smiling faces, and sweaty bodies. We earned it all!
