ROOTED in Christ's love
- St. John's Presbtyerian Church
- There would be no St. John’s Student Ministries if it weren’t for our wonderful church in West Los Angeles. Click here to find out all about what’s happening in the life of St. John’s.
- Crosswalk
- Endless resources for Christian living...
GROWING as his disciples
- Teen Community Bible Study
- Are you a West L.A. high school student looking to go deeper in your study and understanding of the Bible? Julia Brode, one of St. John’s own, is a coordinator for this excellent program.
- XXX Church
- XXX Church is an excellent, and very honest, site for Christians (especially guys) who are trying to figure out what to think about (and how to deal with) pornography. Check it out!
- Worship Together
- Cool praise music and a lot more.
BEARING the Good News
- Hearts for Cameroon
- In 2005 we took a group of 25 short term missionaries to Cameroon in Africa. Check out our ongoing relationship with that area of the world through this special outreach of St. John's Presbtyerian Church.
- Compassion International
- Compassion is a wonderful organization helping children throughout the world. We sponsor Ngabonziza, a young man in Rwanda, through the help of the good people at Compassion. Consider getting your family involved by sponsoring a child!
- Amor Ministries
- Come build hope! This is the ministry we partner with when we travel to Mexico to build homes for low income families.
- Group Workcamps
- This Colorado-based organization were our partners on our 2002 Mission Trip to rural Tennessee and our 2006 Mission Trip to the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged Gulf Coast.
- Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
- Witness the healing love of Christ at work in communities that have been ravished by tragedy. When tsunamis and hurricanes strike, our denomination is there.
- World Vision
- This is another great Christian relief and development organization dedicated to helping children and their communities reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty.
- International Justice Mission
- This Christian organization works hard to combat human rights abuses around the world. They’ve done some excellent work rescuing young girls from forced sexual slavery and prostitution.
- The One Campaign
- Raise your voice against the global emergency of AIDS and extreme poverty.
Just for fun
- Scott B. Bomar
- Ever wonder what your Student Minister does in his free time?
- Melanie Bomar
- Ever wonder what your Student Minister’s wife and St. John’s Praise Team leader does in her free time?
- Lark News
- This stuff is funny! We church types have to be able to laugh at ourselves, after all.
